Every rupee creates real impact.
Citizens Welfare Foundation operates two rented elder care centres that provide a secure home to 55 elderly residents. Approximately 15 to 20 residents receive complete care without charge because they have come from the streets or live without dependable family support. Every day brings essential responsibilities, including accommodation, meals, personal care, medicines, hygiene and emotional reassurance. Monthly rent, employee salaries, electricity bills, repairs and housekeeping expenses must be managed consistently. These practical needs form the foundation of a safe and respectful living environment. Your contribution helps the centres remain prepared for the changing physical and personal needs of every resident. It supports the caregivers who stay beside them and the facilities they depend upon. Continued giving protects the stability of a home where vulnerable elderly people can live with comfort, familiarity and dignity.

Both centres operate from rented premises, making timely rent payments essential to their continued functioning. For residents who once faced life on the streets or lived without reliable support, a settled home brings much needed security.
Several residents require help with bathing, dressing, eating, movement and personal hygiene. Caregivers provide this assistance patiently while remaining attentive to changes in health, behaviour and comfort. Their familiar presence gives residents confidence to ask for help whenever they feel weak or unwell.
Electricity, housekeeping supplies, diapers, hygiene materials, repairs and regular maintenance keep both centres clean and functional. These expenses may appear ordinary, yet they directly influence the residents’ safety and comfort.
We will share recent updates and progress of this campaign here. Stay tuned for the latest developments and success stories.
